Today is great achievement of Indian Automotive sector. Its generating lots of excitement and buzz for all good and positive reason.
On the second hand IPL moving out of India is big setback and could have long and lasting negative effect for Indian tourism and image of India as an attractive sector for investment and business opportunity at large.
While nano keep enthusiasm upbeat by showing excellence of Engineering/Designing and value for money of Indian Business and Manufacturing indsutry, there are concern over more number of vehicles on roads to rise congession and jam to traffic.
I feel pitty towards people who think nano shouldn't come to avoid traffic jams. I am not saying it completely illogical, but don't see any positive logic though.
While our industry engineers endeavouring to realize their dream, no one in government even dare to dream providing better infrastructure.
While one wing show dynamism to hit roads of success with hardwork, our govenment and politicians only think of taxes and their suisse banks.
I am not pointing to any or one of the politician or party, but all of them. They lack conviction and will to achieve and fulfill dream of their voters.
Why is it so... with each of them.. ??
While each of Industrialist and businessmen or say ppl working in pvt sectors as management or at lower lavels keep showing conviction/determination and dream to success.
ISRO, ONGC and many of independent autonomous institutions has continously proving above statement wrong. Though I am still in favour of do-away with License raj and controls.
Learn at least from a country from where most of the business you get.
Still India at very nascent stage... it has to learn and unlearn many things for its good.
Lets hope and pray for bright future of India.
I feel like advertising nano, but not to follow/watch IPL if it happens outside India.

Shrinking green cover and expanding residential area in India
Its a concern for whole world to save green belt to avoid green house effect, which has adverse effect on global warming and their drastic consequences.
Cutting down trees to fetch land to build home and use wood for construction is on exponential rise.
Every step to curb such demand has gone down by not meeting fulfillment to extent it thought of.
In light of such scenario, while paying property tax in Bangalore - India, I am really confused with ongoing process to receive property tax with different kind of properties.
I think it is most important to increase density of population per sqft of residential area to achieve less reduction in green belt, at least at slower pace. For same reason, staying in a multistory apartment should be encouraged by government by applying laws benefiting such population.
In contrast, government apply taxes psft rate for property tax of land or psft of built area for apartment. Similar is the case of property registration as well, registration charges are all same wether you register land or a high rise apartment flat which has 10 ft height of constraint living space instead of a land piece where you can construct at least more than one floor.
Further the land registration cost is on the vacant land's cost, while for apartment its on the constructed price. Truly unfair!..?
This is quite ridiculous propsition to make flat a not so good value proposition buy to propell reduction of land exploration.

India and it's Neighbourhood - Pakistan China and Others
Are we in India living in a danger zone?
---No & Yes---
No because India is stable country with democracy getting stronger and stronger, ppl here sensing urgency of responsibilty. Obviously nothing is perfect.
Yes because it's neighbourhood still unstable or political/rich enough to influence geo-political to keep it's competitor behind.
Pakistan
Pakistan right from freedom till today looks as unstable as anytime. Democracy in pakistan always being torn parat (literally raped) by ISI/Army.
Pakistan also has Afghanistan as neighbour which has major population fidayin/jehaadi or so called fighter or terrorist .... word of any to quote but these ppl bring unstability. Being influenced by ppl and ideology coming from places in Saudi Arab/Afghanistan/Iraq/Iran which has high geo-political unstability converted to religious unity again converted to Jehad. Pakistan looks herself quite stable - thanks to comparison mindset.
In short Pakistan looks to Middle east as source of inspiration and influence.
Pakistan always been a spy for US/Europe to fight and keep alerted against any threats from USSR/China/India/Afghanistan/Iraq/Iran. So now they have habit of bribe... i.e. they are so habitual of foreign aid that its like part of GDP.

Skills other than gunfiring is getting lower and lower in Pakistan, being neghbour of India and China It woould have got its pie of IT boom and outsourcing which could have given momentum to gain its prosperity, but alas it don't want to run businesses but as if it likes to fetch gunda taxes from earning ppl around it.
China
Brilliant Intelligent Strong Politically smart nation, I respect China for its hardworking higher percentage of population.
I personally feel there is only two input forms to the economy of world
1. Agriculture and 2. Human Energy
though Human Energy is also a form of Agriculture, but a chunk of it wasted by non-working ppl who dont want to work. Rest of the dimensions are for optimization.
China has all of them and being smart mover has the capability to rule the world.
Now come to point of the view from India, China is a cunning Nation and land Mafia.
It has strategic geopolitical game going, with economic and growth in mind. It sees India as competitor in many fields and want to appoint someone to hold India back, while it reaches the threshold from here it far away and distinctivly ahead. Pakistan is nice bet for this and gets rewarded in terms of foreign aid... keep enjoying free lunches, till China reaches threshold which is not too far.
As europe getting older and satisfied with its legecy and content. China shows thurst to avail prosperity, while US still has its firing cylinders on, thanks to liberal economy. India has gained and lost many opportunity due to China and net-net on slightly positive side.
There is no major threat in offiing from China to India, but to be aware of it's political cunning behaviour and urgency to gain prosperity.
China is bigger concern on part of India's export impact due to China's capability to lower prices till level of zero.
Sri Lanka
this country has its internal dispute and quite unstable recently. LTTE being major pain in the ass. This country looks like its waiting to get its internal dispute to resolve before it starts flourish.
Nepal
Only Hindu country which faced assassination of its Royal family.
Politically unstable, have terrorist groups.
Treat India as envy mindset, Himalayan belt gives country water and other resources to enjoy.
Bangladesh
Its not intelligent as a Bengali babu in India taken as. Poverty is very high.
Migrain to Indian borders as migrant bangladeshi come to India for food and shelter.
Though this country has potential to offer India a good business opportunity.
Anti of Pakistan in some manner so not as anti as pakistan to India.
Bhutan
Silent and powerless country not in news for any reason.
Tibet
China has taken over this small country. Peaceful buddhist ppl now getting firy to get liberty of their land. Still not big freedom movements, but has potential to go firy.

Domestic Airlines in India and Practice of imported Cartelization
Everyone would have observed lately the dramatic up and down of Airfare in India.
As the crude was going high ..everyone in airline industry crying for high fare and higher "Fuel Surcharge" which taken from customer as Tax, tax in India means the part which goes to Government directly.
If airfare becomes directly proportional to fuel price while fuel price keep rising, why not it comes down when fuel prices has dramatically cooled off?
How come every Airline in India suddenly hit the block of customers and raised the fare, as they give reason of sudden rise in fare due to number of bookings in a timeframe, suddenly customer reached these airlines in such a meltdown economy when a penny less or more is finding more relevance in day to day life.
I feel, gone are days of healthy competition b/w economy airlines.
Now comes days of Cartelization and Cash Rich owner of one airline cutting wings of cheap airlines. Yes, I am talking of Mr Vijay Mallya.
These kind of polarization is certainly not innovative, this resembles the case of Microsoft which had put substantial energy to cut wings of upcoming new ventures at their early ages.
Mr Mallya has already acquired "Air Deccan" the innovative leader of Cheap Deomestic airlines Industry, I personally give all credits to Mr Gopinath for bringing this industry in light.
He has given Jet Airways a hand of friendship with cunning smile, which could cost Jet it's run for life.
Spicejet and Indigo are now two major airlines left for cheap tickets which have to agree with all possible cartel, as they are not big enough to sustain agasinst giants.
1000 Rs fare are part of dreams now, currently are days for 3K+ fuel surcharge holding tight still up there while fuel prices has gone down by almost 50-60%.
There is another dynamic to woo and fear customer planning to fly in future.
Recently Spicejet and Indigo has announced different kind of schemes offering almost same fare(50% lesser than current fare) fore same timeframe.
Suddenly just after withdrawal of this offer Jetlite brought an offer on exactly same price. What does this suggest....
May be after sometime there would be another limited offer from other airline to bring customer back with greed of traveling on less fare, till then keep all customer cross finger speculating when that comes?
Offer timeframe is being utilized to book bottomline, after offer tickets are being sold on higher prices gradually to increase anxiety.
Till there is no elected govt in rule DGCA could be bribed easily to follow such path, rediculous?
